Asila Folds is a vocalist from New York City. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Opera Performance from Ithaca College and is currently pursuing her Equivalency/Master’s in Music Therapy at the University of Georgia. As a former member of the Young Peoples Chorus of New York City, she was chosen to tour and compete in Japan, Germany, Barcelona, and the Dominican Republic. She’s also performed in some of New York City’s notable halls such as Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Rockwood Music Hall, and Brooklyn Academy of Music. Asila has several years of experience teaching general music from preschool to 4th grade. She teaches a variety of styles including classical, musical theatre, and pop. In addition to music, she loves reading, hiking, and creating.
