Emma Gordon

Emma is a graduate student at Augusta University, where she is currently pursuing her Master
of Science in Nursing. Her deep-rooted passion for music led her to the University of Georgia for
her undergraduate studies, where she graduated in 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in Oboe
Performance. Growing up with two parents who hold music degrees, Emma was immersed in
the arts from an early age, beginning her formal piano training at just four years old.
Emma’s love for teaching began in high school, where she first started offering private lessons
in both piano and oboe. She is particularly dedicated to working with young beginners, creating
an encouraging environment where their natural curiosity for music can thrive. While her career
aspirations have led her to the field of healthcare; music remains a core piece of her identity.
She is delighted to re-join the Oconee Music family.
At home, Emma loves to bake and relax with her four-year-old dog, Ollie. She is excited for the
opportunity to guide your student on their musical journey.
