SaVana Cameron is the Owner and Director of Oconee Music, where she teaches voice, piano, ukulele, and beginner guitar. A versatile vocalist, songwriter, and educator, SaVana holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Wesleyan College and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Music Education at the University of Georgia. She began her teaching career at Saint Joseph’s Elementary School in Macon, Georgia, where she directed elementary music and choir programs.
As the owner of Oconee Music, SaVana is passionate about creating a welcoming, encouraging environment where students of all ages can develop confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of music. She believes music lessons should be both educational and inspiring, and she enjoys helping each student discover their unique musical voice while building a strong technical foundation.
In addition to teaching, SaVana is actively involved in the Athens and Watkinsville communities and is committed to making high-quality music education accessible to local families. She continues to write and perform original music and enjoys sharing her passion for songwriting and performance with her students.
Outside the studio, SaVana enjoys spending time with her Australian Shepherd, Lucy, exploring local coffee shops and bookstores, and finding inspiration in nature and the arts.
