Is your child excited about orchestra and strings? If you are in Athens, GA or Clarke county and would like to supplement your orchestra class with private lessons, we currently offer violin, viola, cello, upright bass and harp lessons. If you’re in Oconee county without access to an orchestra program, come study with us and enjoy group opportunities within our studio. Violin, Viola & Cello lessons
Enjoy learning the beautiful strings family here at Oconee Music! Oconee county school systems do not offer an orchestra program, so we wanted to have an opportunity for kids in our community to be able to learn orchestra instruments and be part of a supportive group environment, much like an orchestra family.
Oconee Music string lessons are taught with an in-house curriculum developed especially for our school. It is a blend of Suzuki methodology and other teaching techniques.
Currently we are offering private lessons and as the program expands we will be adding group class offerings and ensemble string classes. As we go through the year we will have string studio performance classes to foster growth and development.
